As a fourth generation Realtor, Ian might argue that his career in real estate began early at his Grandmother’s Warwick, Rhode Island agency when she taught him to greet her clients, answer phones and assemble brochures.  He was seven.  Years later, Ian began working as a licensed real estate agent while an undergrad at Boston College.

After college, Ian left Boston to be closer to his family, the ocean and more available parking.  With lived experience in Rio de Janeiro and San Salvador, Ian speaks Portuguese and Spanish, which proved useful in distinguishing him among other agents in Rhode Island’s more tumultuous market.

Recently, Ian returned to New England’s Capitol, Boston, for a change of scenery with a recovering-market work ethic.

In the field and on the job, Ian feels a strong connection to the land and the properties he visits, but his raison d’être is serving the people and families he encounters.  After all, “under all is the land.”

When looking for an agency in Boston, Ian quickly recognized Charlesgate Realty as a beacon with a reputation for ethics, relationships and results.  He then thought, “that’s where I want to be.”  The rest is past tense.

Ian is a member of the National Association of Realtors and has achieved the following designations:  CIPS, e-Pro and GREEN.
